Dr. Eva Muharib is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

She has over 10 years of experience providing therapy and assessment services to adults.

About Dr. Eva

Approach

Dr. Eva’s therapeutic style is personable, non-judgemental, and supportive. Dr. Eva balances accepting clients as they are with promoting the positive changes and personal growth they seek. She works collaboratively with clients to assist them in meeting their goals and overcoming obstacles by taking the time to understand their challenges and offering individually-tailored coping skills. Dr. Eva's services are culturally-sensitive and individuals from all backgrounds are welcome.

Dr. Eva provides therapy to adults (18-65 years of age) with a range of concerns including anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, difficult life transitions, perfectionism, low self-esteem, communication difficulties, relationship challenges and chronic pain. Dr. Eva provides assessment services to individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, brain injury, stroke, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mild cognitive impairment, and many others conditions.

As a registered Psychologist, Dr. Eva aims to provide clients with the highest standard of care. Her approach is informed by scientific research and is evidence-based. Her approach to therapy is founded in Client-Centered principals and integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness-based approaches. Dr. Eva’s approach to assessment is also informed by research and guided by best practices.

Education and Experience

Dr. Eva completed both her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at York University, Toronto. She also completed an additional specialized program in Neuropsychology during the course of her doctorate. Dr. Eva has over 10 years of experience providing therapy and assessment services to adults. She has held positions in various hospitals and clinical settings including St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Toronto Western Hospital, the York University Psychology Clinic, Alberta Health Services, as well as several private practices in the Greater Toronto Area.
